I am lucky enough to have owned two aspirational cars successively having worked hard to do so. That means I am not going to pass my car over to someone I don't have complete faith in, and for something that I don't think is worth it. I have just had my Lexus given the Gtechnic treatment, the second time I have gone back to Barry. You will find a common word running through many of his reviews-"Passionate"- there's a reason for that. You will most likely get your car back looking better than when it was new. May I also add that whilst most people are delighted with the paintwork afterwards, that this stuff works great on the interior too, most marks just wipe off so your car will stay looking good for much longer. Not all detailers are the same, if you want the best don't look any further. No doubt. No worries.

I thought I had reviewed, my mistake. I had my Range Rover done by Barry, paint correction, powder coated wheels, and the interior fully treated. It looks stunning. Could i have done it to this standard myself, no, was it expensive? Not really considering how long it takes and end finish. It makes me happy to see the car in such a prime condition, so easy now to clean now!Barry is top of his game and is a genuine nice chap with a passion for cars. You will not find better.

Barry is a very easy going chap who knows his stuff. He made a fabulous job of detailing the car and sent pictures during the process and after completion. Paint correction as required Gtechniq CSU and 2 coats of EXo V4.Would highly recommend.

You not only get the best product but the best person to apply it! Barry is a true professional he knows this industry well and his knowledge of the chemicals and how it reacts with the paint.Barry also gave me some advice on how best to maintain the car in the future, as well as providing me with a customer car pack.My black Tesla model 3 performance Had Gtechniq Ultra Serum and Exo v4 applied it now looks amazing and I would highly recommend Barry at Top Car Detailing.

I have just had Gtechniq Ultra Serum and Exo v4 applied to my Porsche 911 following a 3 stage paint correction. The paintwork was not in the best of shape prior to the treatment and the results are absolutely amazing. The car now has a mirror finish. It was an absolute pleasure to deal with Barry. He clearly knows his stuff and takes real care with particular attention to detail. I would highly recommend

Had Gtechniq Ultra Serum and Exo v4 applied to my Porsche Macan following a 3 stage paint correction. The paintwork now looks amazing with a truly mirror like finish. Barry is a detailing magician. Highly recommend him.

Barry recently had my Bentley GTC V8s in for the full works treatment , I can honestly say that when I picked the car up it looked amazing , what a job he had done on it , Barry is a true professional about the work he carries out .I recently visited the Bentley Factory in Crewe , they were also impressed with the work that he had carried out they asked for his phone number , so they could recommend him to there clients , Thanks Barry What a great Job.

My experience in dealing with engineers across the motor industry is that there is a small number who remain knowledgeable and professional in their specific area of expertees. Barry is one within this elite group and should you be in the market for preparing / protecting your motor vehicle then I have no reservations in recommending TOP CAR DETAILING and Barry Polding. Barry will explain the various options and advise you on the benefits and value associated. There are many detailers available, some good, some not so good. In fairness Barry is neither. He is a perfectionist and his work speak’s for itself. The quality of finish generated by Top Car Detailing is the datum by which others aspire. Over the years I have had many new cars paint treatment performed by the various dealerships. I found these to be of limited benefit and question whether some were ever done at all. It was only when the Lexus dealership was promoting a ceramic finish, I'd never heard of this, that I did a bit of research. I'm very pleased that I did in that I came across Barry at TopCarDetailing. I found him to be very knowledgeable, professional, helpful and enthusiastic. Having trusted Barry with the new car, Lexus RX, I am amazed at the difference in the car despite only picking it up brand new a week or so ago. The car looks fantastic and i do believe will be much easier to keep it looking this way, there is certainly a huge difference from the treatments the dealerships sell. On collecting the car Barry has provided me with a comprehensive list of items and tips for maintaining the finish. He has certainly gone the extra mile and I would highly recommend his services without any hesitation. It was certainly worth a little bit of research...

After some quite extensive research into ceramic coatings for my (nearly) new car I was convinced it was the right thing to do. But who could I trust who would take as much care of my pride and joy as I did?After getting a few quotes and considering a few coating options it seemed that the answer was close to home and that Top Car Detailing was the best option.From the minute I spoke to Barry I felt he was someone I could trust to do a great job and I wasn't disappointed. When I picked it up the car it looked fantastic. The coating I went for comes with a 9 year guarantee and a free annual inspection.On picking the car up Barry gave me some useful advice on caring for the car. At 54 I thought I knew how to wash a car....... But I clearly didn't.Next day I received an Email from Barry with lots of useful tips, products and links that will provide birthday and Christmas presents for a few years. In summary - Top Man, Top Products and Top Service.I would, without hesitation, recommend Top Car detailing to anyone.

After a number of emails and advise from Barry on my needs to bring our Evoque back to Showroom conditions, Barry and I settled on a comprehensive solutions and package to meet my aspirations for our car.Critical to meet those needs, I needed someone who’s approach to detail, quality and pride in his work met mine.Barry, for those who have gone before me will know that he is not just into the detail, but meticulous in every area of the vehicle he touches In terms of satisfaction it would be fair to say that my car looks better than when I brought it.It took almost a week to complete all the works but Barry really delivered, At every stage of the Programme undertaken.Barry advised, consulted, and updated on progress status on the vehicle , this ensured No disappointments on the final completion date.I’ve had the car back a couple of weeks now and can’t help admiring the mirror finish and simply to stare at. WOW, WOW, WOW, ! I just had my 2016 M4 convertible detailed by Barry at Top Car Detailing and it looks Fantastic. The car is finished in BMW individual Tanzanite blue paintwork with interior opal white merino leather. It looked good before Barry got to grips with it but on close inspection it had some swirls & small scratches from everyday use and cleaning. Barry has done a fantastic job and I am very very pleased. The car look better than new inside & out and there is better definition and depth of colour in the paint plus lines of the car and wheels. The whole process of initial consultation, advice, getting the work done, and after care advise was a pleasure start to finish with Barry. Barry definitely goes the extra mile with his detailing and clearly knows his stuff and has a passion for this work. If you are looking for a professional detaining of your pride & joy then go to Barry at Top Car Detailing and I am sure you will not be disappointed. Treatment consisted of:Exterior paintwork. Snow foam wash & decontamination of, two stage machine polish to remove all of the swirl marks and scratches out of the paintwork with a final machine polish to refine the paint bringing it back to a mirror finish. Application of Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra plus two coats of Exo V4. Wheels removed and fully cleaned including the brake calliper then all then all coated in Gtechniq C5 Wheel Armour. Tyres dressed. Glass was cleaned and sealed with Gtechniq smart glass with Kamikaze protection on front windscreen. All interior was cleaned and given a Gtechniq L1 leather guard and dash with matt dash.Engine bay cleaned.Fantastic!

Barry is a true craftsman. I took my Jaguar F-type R to him as it needed some attention to get it looking as it should. He had to do a lot of hard work to get it looking right, but it has certainly made a huge difference and his attention to detail shows. Wow, what a transformation! The car now looks better than when it was new and it has been worth every penny. I will definitely NEVER be taking it to a carwash ever again!! I took my 2 year old Land Rover Discovery sport to Barry for Paint correction and to have Gthechniq crystal serum along with Exo 4, C5 Wheel armour, C4 permanent plastic trim & Smart glass applied. When I got the car back it looked even better than when I bought it new, Barry had taken all of the swirl mark from the plastic door trim prior to treating them. I found Barry approach to be very professional and he had pride in his work. His Work shop is very well presented and clean. I would have no hesitation in recommending Top Car Detailing to any one and will certainly use there services again.

Put my 63 plate m3 in last week as paint was bad from washing.only had the car 3 months.got paint correction on stonechips and a 2 stage polish before a gtechniq crystal ceramic coating.seen some pictures before picking car up and looked great but when seen car in the flesh I couldn't believe how good it looked.looked like a brand new car.barry polding is a perfectionist and at the top of his game and an absolute gent.will be back in a few years when I change my car again.money well spent.thanks again Barry your work is amazing .🚘

Barry (the owner) is both a True Gent and clearly a superb craftsman. After just buying the car I have always wanted, I was quite keen to do what I could to protect the paintwork as much as possible. After looking into Gtechniq crystal serum products, I found Top Car Detailing.After looking at Barry's credentials on his website as well as the catalogue of cars he has worked on, I enquired about having my car detailed and protected. I dropped by and spoke to Barry who advised me of the best products to use and what the process would be.I took my Mustang to Top Car Detailing on a Saturday and it was ready to pick up the following Tuesday. I was kept up to date of the process via Instagram, Twitter & Facebook with regular videos and pictures. However, they did not do the job that Barry did justice. When picking the car up, the car looked immaculate and had an amazing mirror finish, it really made the paintwork shine!Barry went through through some pointers of how best to maintain the car in the future, as well as providing me with a customer car pack to refer to. Good stuff!I was lucky to have the very latest Gtechniq Ultra Serum added to the car, which is guaranteed for a 9 year period. Before even receiving my Ford Mustang GT I rang Barry, after hearing some great news about the work he had done on a friends car.He gave me some great advice and showed detailed knowledge of my vehicles paintwork, so I had no hesitation in getting my car to him asap, to get a mirror finish and crystal serum applied to the paintwork.After owning the vehicle for 3 weeks, without washing it prior to the arrival of his premises, it was long over due a wash. But the wait was worth it. After a week in Barry's care the car is absolutely imaculate. The attention to detail is second to none. The shine and mirror finish is superb. I would seriously recommend Barry to anyone who wishes to have their car detailed professionally.

I looked long and hard for somewhere to detail my new car. I saw Topcardetailing.co.uk and submitted an online enquiry. Barry responded by a phone call and I knew from the conversation that he was the person to do it. Meticulous attention to detail, Barry is so passionate about cars and his company and also so qualified and knowledgeable. I booked my car in recently and the result was just amazing. Water and especially rain just beads so well and runs off. The car looks better than showroom in its appearance. The glass treatment is also brilliant and recommended. The handover was comprehensive and included advice and help on maintaining the finish. I am confident that I now have long term protection and enhanced appearance for my car. Barry is an absolute perfectionist in a good way. He knows his industry inside out and his knowledge of the chemicals he uses and how it reacts with the paintwork I don't think can be surpassed. This is a detailers in the truest sense, not a bloke in a van who gives the car a wash, polish and hoover but a real specialist who will restore and surpass the original quality of any vehicles paintwork.
