I expect to keep my new car in the family for a while so wanted to give it some quality protection from the outset. Having done some research a ceramic coating and TCD seemed to be the answer. Now having met Barry and seen his work I can fully understand all of the other fantastic reviews, he's a great guy, passionate about what he does and fully delivers. He two stage polished the car and treated the paint, wheels and callipers with ceramics and also treated the plastic body mouldings. The paint is highly reflective, the mouldings now somehow appear a richer black and the wheels look better than new. Rain almost jumps off the car.On collection Barry spent almost an hour explaining how best to look after the car and provided great advice, such is his dedication. I'm sure we'll be back.

After extensive research, we decided to entrust my son's car to Barry to complete paint rectification work. Barry is superb. He is the ultimate perfectionist and the best.He kept us updated throughout the process and was realistic about what could be achieved given that the paintwork was in a mess due to the previous owners neglect. Barry's work surpassed our expectations by a mile. I really cannot recommend him highly enough. It is clear that his passion for his work shines though.Barry really goes the extra mile. There are not enough words to describe how excellent Top Car Detailing is. Based on their website and the cars they have worked on previously, I had no concerns about dropping my car off for them to work on. My car was brand new out of the showroom and I thought it had perfect paintwork. Barry, at Top Car Detailing, tried to point out how bad the paint work was, but I couldn't see it. He obviously has a better eye for it than I do. Barry Polding, The detailer at Top Car Detailing did an amazing job on my car and I could tell the difference immediately. Astonishing!!! I received excellent, professional service from Barry from initial inspection through to collecting the car following completion and then after-sales advice. Personally, I got the impression that he took passion and pride in detailing cars and this is what convinced me to travel to T.C.D as opposed to using more local businesses. A clear example of this is the fact that the premises was spotlessly clean and organised. I would definitely return in the future should I ever need work on my car.

The whole experience with Barry at Top Car Detailing was very professional. Barry is clearly a man who knows and is passionate about car detailing & finishing.Every step of the process was explained.The car looks amazing, even more so than when collected from the showroom less than 3 weeks previously. That’s the result of having a Zirconite ceramic coating applied.I would 100% recommend Top Car Detailing. I also look forward to using the new line of cleaning products that Barry has developed and is launching in the next few weeks.

Barry provided an excellent service whilst 2 stage polishing and ceramic coating (Kamikaze Collection) the paint on my new BMW X4. He also ceramic coated the wheels, calipers and the piano black interior parts.The car looks better than new, and I have had lots of comments about how good the car now looks.I would highly recommend his services.

Took my new Tesla here for a ceramic coating and as usual, it is now looking immaculate.Barry always does a fantastic job and his attention to detail is second to none. You may be able to get a ceramic coating from a dealer, but the extra cost for Barry’s services is well worth it. Barry takes a real pride in his work and is a credit to his profession.My old Alfa Romeo, even after 4 years still gets admiring comments from strangers and that’s mainly down to Barry’s ceramic coating and regular washing.

If you require the best in paint correction, detailing and ceramic coating then there really is no one to rival Barry, at Top Car Detailing, in the North West. My new car is absolutely my pride and joy so leaving it with someone for week requires trust and having met and seen Barry’s work I had no doubt I was in safe hands. I am lucky enough to have owned two aspirational cars successively having worked hard to do so. That means I am not going to pass my car over to someone I don't have complete faith in, and for something that I don't think is worth it. I have just had my Lexus given the Gtechnic treatment, the second time I have gone back to Barry. You will find a common word running through many of his reviews-"Passionate"- there's a reason for that. You will most likely get your car back looking better than when it was new. May I also add that whilst most people are delighted with the paintwork afterwards, that this stuff works great on the interior too, most marks just wipe off so your car will stay looking good for much longer. Not all detailers are the same, if you want the best don't look any further. No doubt. No worries.

I thought I had reviewed, my mistake.I had my Range Rover done by Barry, paint correction, powder coated wheels, and the interior fully treated. It looks stunning. Could i have done it to this standard myself, no, was it expensive? Not really considering how long it takes and end finish. It makes me happy to see the car in such a prime condition, so easy now to clean now!Barry is top of his game and is a genuine nice chap with a passion for cars. You will not find better.

My experience in dealing with engineers across the motor industry is that there is a small number who remain knowledgeable and professional in their specific area of expertees. Barry is one within this elite group and should you be in the market for preparing / protecting your motor vehicle then I have no reservations in recommending TOP CAR DETAILING and Barry Polding. Barry will explain the various options and advise you on the benefits and value associated. There are many detailers available, some good, some not so good. In fairness Barry is neither. He is a perfectionist and his work speak’s for itself. Over the years I have had many new cars paint treatment performed by the various dealerships. I found these to be of limited benefit and question whether some were ever done at all. It was only when the Lexus dealership was promoting a ceramic finish, I'd never heard of this, that I did a bit of research. I'm very pleased that I did in that I came across Barry at TopCarDetailing. I found him to be very knowledgeable, professional, helpful and enthusiastic. Having trusted Barry with the new car, Lexus RX, I am amazed at the difference in the car despite only picking it up brand new a week or so ago. The car looks fantastic and i do believe will be much easier to keep it looking this way, there is certainly a huge difference from the treatments the dealerships sell. On collecting the car Barry has provided me with a comprehensive list of items and tips for maintaining the finish. He has certainly gone the extra mile and I would highly recommend his services without any hesitation. It was certainly worth a little bit of research...

After some quite extensive research into ceramic coatings for my (nearly) new car I was convinced it was the right thing to do. But who could I trust who would take as much care of my pride and joy as I did?After getting a few quotes and considering a few coating options it seemed that the answer was close to home and that Top Car Detailing was the best option.From the minute I spoke to Barry I felt he was someone I could trust to do a great job and I wasn't disappointed. When I picked it up the car it looked fantastic. The coating I went for comes with a 9 year guarantee and a free annual inspection.On picking the car up Barry gave me some useful advice on caring for the car. At 54 I thought I knew how to wash a car....... But I clearly didn't.Next day I received an Email from Barry with lots of useful tips, products and links that will provide birthday and Christmas presents for a few years.In summary - Top Man, Top Products and Top Service.I would, without hesitation, recommend Top Car detailing to anyone.

Barry is a true craftsman. I took my Jaguar F-type R to him as it needed some attention to get it looking as it should. He had to do a lot of hard work to get it looking right, but it has certainly made a huge difference and his attention to detail shows. Wow, what a transformation! The car now looks better than when it was new and it has been worth every penny. I will definitely NEVER be taking it to a carwash ever again!! Barry is an absolute perfectionist in a good way. He knows his industry inside out and his knowledge of the chemicals he uses and how it reacts with the paintwork I don't think can be surpassed. This is a detailers in the truest sense, not a bloke in a van who gives the car a wash, polish and hoover but a real specialist who will restore and surpass the original quality of any vehicles paintwork.
